Buy Environmentally Friendly Clothing

Have you been looking to turn green in all aspects of your life? If you are like a lot of people you are simply trying to make better choices concerning what you buy so that you are not contributing to any environmental problems. A great way to go green in an area that you may not have already gone green is with organic clothing such as organic hats.

You’ll find when you start shopping for these items that you can get just about anything that you want or need to wear in organic form. The wonderful thing is that you won’t have to change your style of dress; you’re just changing how the products were treated before they were turned into clothing. This sounds odd to many people, but organic clothing really is a better choice.

The reason for this is that cotton crops are abundant but also hard on the environment. This is because cotton farming requires a lot of pesticide use for the cotton to grow fast and strong the way that the farmers like it to so they can maximize crops.

What All Homeowners Need to Know About the Home Valuation Code of Conduct & It’s Adverse Effects

On Could 1, 2009, a new set of rules relating to the processing of appraisals for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac loans went into impact. The House Valuation Code of Conduct, or HVCC as it is recognized, was intended to curb fraudulent mortgages.

This new code was in response to an investigation conducted by Andrew Cuomo (the Attorney General for New York) into the appraisal practices of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac (GSEs or Government Sponsored Entities). Basically, Attorney Common Cuomo agreed to quit the investigation if Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac would change their appraisal process.

The HVCC is an effort to clean up the mortgage industry. Though there are many very good initiatives in this new code, there are several unintended consequences adversely affecting home buyers, home sellers, mortgage brokers, agents and appraisers.

We Need New Leadership to Meet Climate Change

We cannot solve the problems we have created until we change our traditional beliefs about this planet, each other and our political and corporate myths. It is these beliefs that have created the world we live in, and so therefore by their very nature they are incapable of finding solutions.

We cannot financially “manage” our way out of climate change or a profit oriented mindset.
For us to stand any chance of reversing our present position we must find leaders who understand who and what we are as a species and how we have to relate to this wonderful planet.

For example – Credit works against the human condition because we receive the reward before we have made any effort. As a species we are designed to strive, and in so doing grow and mature as beings. Competition is a fundamental human motivator in whatever aspect of life you choose, and the spur is winning or at least making a good account of ourselves and preparing for the next time.
